Mountain Bike Race Spring Series-Solavaca 4/25/10

The photographer’s objective this time was to get two pictures of as many WBC member racers as possible – a posed one and a racing one. In some cases this worked out well. In other cases it didn’t.
The first picture below is of one first-time racer (first time racing on a mountain bike, that is) and three WBC supporters. L to R: Jency, Jeremy, Margot, Jeff. The second picture is of Sergio, an experienced mountain bike racer. Unfortunately it was the only picture the photographer got of him. He raced so fast that the photographer missed him entirely!
It took until the 5th race to finally get a picture of Penny!
Peter started racing in the Cat 3 12-and-under class. He continues to enjoy riding and racing and makes it to every race he possibly can. This race was a sprint to the finish line for him!
Jeremy started racing the TMBRA series at this race and seems to be quite hooked! Expect to see him racing again!
A couple of families from the Waco Bicycle Club are involved in racing. Below are John and Emmylou, and below that are their boys, Dawson and big brother, Dillon.
The other racing family in the club is a family of six! Below are (L to R) Anna, Joshua (front), Paul (back), Angela, and Emily. Big brother, Jacob, wasn’t around for this picture.
